Christian education

CCD's mission to guide young and old on a lifelong faith journey

CCD is committed to providing Christian Education opportunities to children and adults. The Sunday School program combines solid Biblical teaching with a lively and creative approach designed to engage and inspire. The children begin their Sunday learning with the congregation, and after the always delightful Youth Sermon, attend classes geared to their ages. The Sunday School children participate in the Christmas pageant with original music, and on Sunday School Sunday, they lead the entire church in worship. Adult Bible Study is offered each Sunday at 9:30 AM under the able direction of Rev. Adrienne Flipse Hausch, and during Lent special educational events are always happening.

CCD sponsors a pre-K program, nursery school (UPK), and After School Academy , "Middle School Madness," led by Rev. Dr. Linden DeBie, combines moral and ethical lessons with fun and games for pre-teenagers.

At CCD, your family will find a spiritually nurturing place to learn and grow in God's love. You will find a supportive network of mentors and friends dedicated to inspiring children and adults on their lifelong faith journey.

Continuing Christian education

Taught by Dr. DeBie on the first Sunday of the month for middle-school students. Students face tough questions and engage in thoughtful discussion. Focusing on the Sacraments, the class will work through moral issues with games and outreach. Students go on trips, perform community service, and have social opportunities throughout the school year.

Adult programs

Special educational events are always happening. Look for spiritually and intellectually stimulating opportunities offered year-round.

Jesus said: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19.14
